Officers
Session
The 12 members of our Session are responsible for the mission and government of our congregation. Each Session member is assigned to work with one of the committees of our congregation. This year, the members of Session and their committee assignments include:
Godlove Awasom (Finance) is a Cameroonian from West Africa who moved to the United States in March, 2007. He is married to Marceline and has two sons, Henry and Daniel. He is an accountant by profession but currently works as a Manager for Pizza Hut and an Overnight Stocking Associate for Wal-Mart. Godlove adores music and plays the guitar. He also likes reading, and he used to be a great soccer talent.
Harold Crumpler (Finance) retired as President of a life, accident, and health insurance company. He has been married 58 years, with three children and five grandchildren. Originally from North Carolina, he is a graduate of Wake Forest University. Harold has been a member of White Bluff Presbyterian Church for about 10 years, and enjoys reading and fishing.
Rob Haworth (Worship) is a lifelong Presbyterian and found that White Bluff Presbyterian Church was a natural fit when he and his family moved to Savannah many years ago. Rob and his wife, Sheila, have three grown daughters, all Savannah natives.
Chad Paul (Facilities) has been a member of White Bluff since 1995. He is married with two active boys, and he enjoys playing drums and bass guitar in his spare time.
Renee Berry (Clerk of Session/Christian Education) is a lifelong Presbyterian and a relatively recent transplant from upstate New York. She is an English teacher and a writer, currently teaching at Armstrong Atlantic State University.
Bev McKenna (Christian Service) is an assistant professor at Georgia Southern University and enjoys reading, traveling, and scrapbooking. Her husband, Mike, is a reading professor at UVA and they have 3 children and 1 grandchild.
Ian Thomas (Outreach) has been blessed by God with a wonderful wife and four great kids. He teaches technical career skills on Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Air Field.
Susan Collins (Christian Education) loves teaching children. She has taught public school for nearly 30 years as well as being active in the Christian education of our children at church. Her only son is a freshman in college, so she spends her “empty nest” time reading and scrapbooking.
Sue Jonas (Fellowship) has been a member of White Bluff Presbyterian Church for about seven years, and she is active with choir, handbells, Sunday School, and Presbyterian Women. She and her husband are amateur radio operators (HAMS) and enjoy talking with people all over the world.
Ruth Love (Worship)
Barry Windeknecht (Facilities) is married to Patty and has a son named Joe and a daughter named Sarah. He has been a member of White Bluff Presbyterian Church for 15 years, and he is looking forward to the new year and the many challenges it brings.
