Eric has served as Pastor of White Bluff Presbyterian Church since 2006. Previously, he served as the pastor of a small, urban congregation in Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to attending seminary, he worked for a non-profit community development organization in Portland, Oregon. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon, and his Master of Divinity Degree from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. His wife, Mary, is Pastor of Faith Presbyterian Church in Rincon, Georgia, and his son, Isaac, is ten years old.
Jim began as our Director of Music in October, 2014. Previously, he served as the music director and organist at two other Presbyterian churches in our area and filled in as accompanist at many other churches all over Savannah. He has worked as an elementary school music teacher in the Liberty County schools since 1987. He has degrees in Music Education from Virginia Commonwealth University, Florida State University, and Georgia Southern University.
Director of Children’s Ministry: Rose Slusser
Rose has a background in early childhood development, with experience teaching and caring for children from toddlers on up. At White Bluff Presbyterian, she plans activities and lessons and coordinates helpers for our children’s Sunday School and Vacation Bible School programs; she plans special events, such as our annual Easter Egg Hunt for children; and she provides support for families with children in our church. In addition, she directs our After School Tutoring Program and our Parents’ Morning Out Program.
Custodian: Audrey Tilton
Audrey has served as the Custodian of our church for almost 20 years. She faithfully keeps the buildings clean and in good order. Audrey lives with her family in Guyton, Georgia, and cleans for several other churches as well as ours.
Nursery Supervisor: Jackie Brown
Jackie oversees our nursery for infants and toddlers during worship and special events, and assists with our pre-school Sunday School class. She has experience in many child care settings, including day care centers as well as in-home child care. Jackie is a student at Armstrong State University, training to be a pediatric nurse, and she is certified in CPR and First Aid for children and infants.
